Federal Minister for Education Shafqat Mehmood has announced that educational institutions in seven districts of Punjab will remain closed from March 15 to March 28. Faisalabad, Sialkot, Multan, Lahore, Gujrat, Rawalpindi, and Gujranwala. Educational institutions in Islamabad will also remain closed from March 15 to March.

In addition, offices in Islamabad will be open with 50% attendance, while entertainment venues will have to close by 6 pm.

Educational institutions in Sialkot and Peshawar have been closed for two weeks on Monday, March 15. All educational institutions will reopen on March 28. Institutions, where examinations are taking place, will continue.
